Soul Splitter II book

SOUL SPLITER 2 - (under a different pen name)

It’s 2013, I'm trying to do a side hustle as an editor for a paranormal site. I'm fixing articles and looking for places to check out or inspiration on stories. I come across a ghost legend in Lima, Peru:

A newscaster in the 70's walks into an abandoned building with a camcorder and becomes insane after he see's something. Later on, that building he went into became a closed down forgotten Electronic Store...

I’m thinking my take on this book story, would be an adventure story to find that camera footage inside that electronic store. See what’s on that film reel. I'll have the Character’s try to sneak into the Lima news studio building where they will look for the film reel of that news anchor. They want to see what made him go insane and if any video proof of spirits or what he saw.
Anything in my early twenties I consider practice, so I'll sum this book up quick here. There also was a first Soul Splitter book, which has nothing to do with this one. Both have story elements and scenes I like, which I will use them for scrap parts.

The above cover I made, and I think is better then the one I used on Amazon. For the sequel cover, I had a guy illustrate it, Dave Groshelle. I'm sure when he started to read the copy I sent him, he closed the book after a few pages.  I like both covers, both covers are better then books.

HUMBERTO VERA

I’m researching this Peru ghost story for the book I'm going to write and it looks like the news anchor Humberto Vera, has written his own book about his personal experience of how he went insane. His book came out in the 90's and is about his paranormal experiences and poems he wrote.
I’m trying to get a copy of his book, and there are only 4 college libraries in the world that have one each a copy of this book. I'm in talks with one college in Washington to see if I can buy it, and they say I have to be a student borrowing it on site.  One college library is in Australia, Alaska, and then one is the states. My mom, a couple months later is driving past the college in the states, that has a copy of Humberto's book. I ask her if she can scan the book and send me a PDF.
I get this PDF and the book is all in Spanish. I’m using different translators software so I can read it. The software works fine, the paragraphs can be jumbled, but I can still get what he's doing. He doesn't say what he see's in the building! Had my mom scan a hundred pages for nothing and some nice poems.

The end of the book he’s says “There are such things such as Goblin’s and Faries... Ghosts… its all real...” - Humberto Vera. Maybe translated back to Spanish its different, but if I can read that, you can too.

I threw that translated PDF of “El Cazador de fantasmas” online. (Can’t find it at the moment). The book cover is a cartoon drawing of the News-caster Humberto in a scary scene.

Later on, books suck, because you spend a year writing one, then you go to the movies and notice something similar. Then you cry in the movie theater bathroom. Then you go home and re-do your story. There's a gap of time when I just gave up books to do music. (Better for it)
I ended up ripping out the pages of the hard cover book, because I wrote about some occult things I'm probably not allowed to write about. No one else has. I had the poster of the cover on my wall till I realized it wasn't something good enough to be on a wall.

Now I can sleep from attacks from wizards.

This past winter, I'm working a job and this co-worker tells me she's from Peru. I get my stupid smile.
"Have you been to that haunted Electronic store in Lima or heard of it?" I asked.
"That place is... nothing. It's a ghost story to scare the local students of the city."
She then recommends to me that there our haunted abandoned highway tunnels near the Lima Peru jungle, where all the cool explorers go. Our conversation ended when I asked if monkey's run about and if your getting coffee they like steal your mug. Need to work on my girl talk.

GUESSING THE MOVIE!!!!

Around the same time I finish this book, I saw that some one in South America was making a movie about this same story. Just throw my laptop out. Is it bugged? "Is there a fucking camera in my room?" Neighbor watching me take all my stuff to the trash. (Have done this multiple times)
When I saw the poster for this movie they were filming, it was a pixelated photograph of the electronic store. The people making the movie are living in Peru, so I assume they will use the real location. The plot wasn't up, and I don't care enough to look up the plot. I like to guess what it would be...

 PLOT 1 THEORY

A family in Peru in current time, is renting a room above the haunted electronic store. Ghost mess with the family till they run out into the streets of Lima. Maybe an old news anchor Humberto is sitting on a bench laughing them at the end of the movie.

PLOT 2 THEORY

The TV crew station is concerned that their famous News Anchor Humberto, is in a mental institution after doing a ghost piece on the electronic store. The sound guy for the news team and hot intern break into the electronic store to see what he witnessed.

PLOT 3 THEORY

American guy who did too much research on the haunted Electronic store ghost story, decides to head down to Peru and video record a night stay there. He goes to check out the haunted highway tunnels his co-worker told him about. He gets robbed, because the tunnels is where they rob people. American guy soon finds out, Peru is so dangerous that it doesn't matter whats inside that Electronic building, how is he going to get out of Peru....
