Hollywood Wax Museum / OZ ski-resort

THE WAX MUSEUM KNOCK

Up until I watched a ghost shows, I would ignore any knocks on the walls. "The ghost is communicating with you, look around the room for what it wants you to know..."
I’m walking alone through a wax museum in Hollywood. I get to a room the size of racket ball court where the I Dream of Jeanie wax figure is sitting in an crossed leg position. I would have put her wax figure in the center of this large room and not to the side. Maybe there was another 1960’s TV character that is a Witch that was in this other space. Maybe it came to life and walked out without telling the staff. Taking a ride over to the Chateau Marmont where she sat by the pool with checking out craft ideas on Etsy on her phone.
If it was Gilligan wax figure who was here. If he came to life maybe he's ordering too many burgers at Carl's Jr that the staff can't keep up. Messing with a tiktok video's lighting rig. Maybe he walks into the other wax museum and just becomes a wax figure other there. Nobody would question it.
Its also silent in this room. I want to know what wax personality is over in that exciting room? Can I even take a selfie with the lights. (Sign how you know someone doesn't go to clubs or EDM parties)
I hear a loud knock on the ceiling above me, and look around to see no one else is with me. I’m scared. A spirit of the Hollywood Wax Museum is trying to tell me something. I look around the room again. "Do I go to Coco Beach, Spirit? Is Coco Beach real or just in I dream TV show universe?"
This knock ghost story I would have said as a ghost tour guide in Hollywood!

My tour probably would have been too informative of old Hollywood, maybe complain about old TV shows like when Mary Tyler Moore gets a phone call from a salesman. In this episode she’s flirting with the salesman like she forgot she’s married. This is the 1950’s, I didn't know they did that back then. The tone is about to switch to a thriller because the salesman voice is The Hitchcock Hour level.
One guy in my tour just leaves, no tip. Gives me a chance to see if my Wing Stop order is ready on my phone while the group watches him storm off.
"When can we see the haunted Mirror where Monroe appears inside the hotel?" A tourist in the group asks me.
"Can't go inside, touched the Monroe mirror too many times waiting for the ghost to appear. Security is on to me."
A homeless guy in this area did try and mess with me by following me to my car once. If I did these tours, I would have to pay him so he wouldn't shout at my guest. "See any ghost yet!"

ALIENS AT MY UNCLES HOUSE

I’ve always like my uncle, he’s the funny joke uncle. I realized recently he doesn’t like anything I talk about that's not normal. I bring up my testosterone problem and he gives me a PSA to not to believe everything on I read on the internet.  My other Uncle, he lets me talk about ghost stories, the occult and the paranormal like its casual conversation for a wedding in front of the other guest.
I’m living at the jokey uncle's house and its about a month in when I notice something weird. The treadmill has a window that looks out into the suburbs. I want everyone to see i'm getting in shape, even the UPS lady. One night, I walk past the work out room from the shower and notice bright lights outside the window near the treadmill. It looks like two huge spotlights are hovering over the neighbor across the streets house.

I don't have a tablet pen, but those circles are the size of the lights and the position they are in. The rocket next to the houses is what I think it could be.
Theory is some alien is monitoring all the good citizen's in this area. I've been at my uncles house as a kid, I've never seen this before. I've left his house at night many times. My uncle is getting home from work at night, maybe the aliens forgot to turn on the cloaking device and left the spotlights on. The new alien working shifts here wasn't taught all the control functions yet.
Below the spotlights is a house. I watched as lights in a strobe flicker movement coming from the garage. It looks like somebody is being electrocuted... is the first thought. Then it could just be a guy playing violent video games, or watching any action movie where they use guns and not fists. Maybe the alien is playing the video games and forgot to turn off the lights.
I can’t peak through the window of the house to see if I need to call the police, when its just a strobe flicking light. When I was 16, I did walk around the streets of my small town at night. I'm looking for something I'm not supposed to see. I'm in my questing what you have been taught phase. Could have been working on hobbies, but you are getting cardio in at night in the summer.
I passed an Elk lodge. I didn't know what I would see in those windows, a Mason lodge would be a Grand Wizard duel, what the Elk's are up to I don't know. Peaked through the window to see some guys in their 50's playing foos-ball and soda from can's.
The next day I'm at my Uncles, I’m looking around the suburbs on my Uncles bike, because I don’t have a car. I’m looking for some kind of large tower or power plant. I don't see anything tall enough or anything in the backyard of that house.
I wait till night time hits, and I drop my phone from filling out job applications to check on the spotlight situation. Those two balls of lights are back above the house across the street. I’m already the guy in the neighbor-hood selling things on online for my uncle. I can’t be wondering around with a camera and light on the front lawn aiming a camera at the houses. I think the neighbors think I'm drug dealer. Drug dealers don't ride bikes. (Good ones. Wait, cool ones.)
I don’t want to tell my uncle because he’s the not paranormal uncle and he’s mad I didn’t use up the last peanut butter jar before throwing it away. I walk outside and look at these spotlights. Nobody seems to also be outside walking around looking at them. Most homes have their lights off.
Day 3 of the spotlights issue. I ride my bike to Guitar Center to pick up a certain type of guitar string that I couldn't get at the other small chained guitar store. This guitar string has the double-ball ends on both sides. I need it for my travel guitar which doesn't have a spot to wrap the strings on the knobs.
I can’t find the double-ball string on the racks, and the cashier expert thinks it doesn't exist. I can get it on Amazon I tell him, but you should have it! He closes the Guitar Center gate as I leave, that's enough customers for the night. I head to gas station for a snack which is still open. Eating a protein cookie, because i'm biking. (Tip for you.)
I hear some under produced 90's hip-hop song. Usually anything you hear in public is a hit unless its played from some guys boombox or car. I bike over and see these adults standing in line for 90's night. Can't go in, i'm sweaty. Don't want to lock my bike up in this area. There's a difference from riding a bike in the night then the day. It feels forbidden, like I can explore the area more then in a car. Swing by an Elk lodge on the way, maybe let me play foos-ball with them.
I want to see these spotlights from a different angle. I get to the street 40 minutes later, its weird there's no ghost out. All these ghost stories I read about, never see any at night. I'm tired and look up above the houses near my uncle's.
Nothings in the sky. No bright lights. Alien in ship probably: “Adult human on bike, better turn on the cloaking for our ship over this suburban area." Somebody showed him the controls.

I think my Uncle has an Alien issue continued / The OZ Ski-Resort

If you some how stumbled across this blog on the internet, I wanted to update you on the weird stuff going on at my uncles house. My uncle was helping his nephew who is in his 30's getting back on his feet after losing everything, which is... me. If he punches me at this coming thanksgiving, then somebody sent him them link to this blog. Meanwhile, there are still sometimes bright lights across the street. That's all you need to know...
I'm cooking tofu, which I think taste like eggs. Nobody tells you that or maybe you would eat it. I would look over past the kitchen to see where he's watching TV in the living room. He'll watch like a HBO show but then some time's he's watching full seasons of a TV that I don't think your supposed to watch. It's not advertised, I think somebody just wanted to make a TV show to give people work.

INT - ALABAMA SWAMP

EMS arrives on scene in the swamp where a boat has crashed to the shore. Nobody else is around. The two sexy uniformed men step out of the ambulance and their headlights aimed at the boat that is half in the muddy water.

HENRY EMS GUY 1
Dispatch, I got no body here

HENRY says into his walkie-talkie.

FEDERICK EMS GUY 2
Hey, we got batteries? My flashlight is dying here

HENRY
It's a USB charged flashlight

FEDERICK
Oh, I just push it it into the car cigerate outlet then to charge?

FEDERICK watches as his flash light flickers over the muddy water

HENRY
You know this boat belongs to bait and tackle
owner in town. Not sure if he lent it out

HENRY rubs his shoe on the side of the boat to move the mud and see it says
"Belongs to EMS team"

FEDERICK
Hey, is that our boat?

HENRY
We don't have boats, that's the swamp coast guards
I don't know what this is

FEDERICK
Do we just leave now?
Nobody is here

The two EMS employees hear rustling in the woods. HENRY moves his flashlight towards the noise. White light from the eyes of an Alligator peaking its nose out of the leaves looking back at the two.

UNCLE
Please throw your testosterone booster bottles into the recyclable

UNCLE says to ME running on the treadmill

ME
Sorry

UNCLE
Good show, right?

ME
I don't know

UNCLE leaves room and dog pokes his nose at my leg as I run on the treadmill.

ME
No, I'll walk you later.  The neighbors think its weird I
go outside too much. Everybody my age should have a car
and not be walking down the street.

I look at the TV as the two EMS men get back into the ambulance. The Alligator slinks back into the muddy water wagging it tail around.

FEDERICK
Is this the USB charger?

FEDERICK tries to push the flashlight into the radio making the station channels change. The tv show switchs to a commercial for the Wizard of Oz comes on the TV, not sure what this 1940’s movie is promoting at the moment. The commercial has a scene where Dorthy shake's Toto’s paw. I look over at my uncle's dog whom I’m babysitting in the living room. I walk over and try to recreate the scene by giving a hand shake to  the dog. "We're going to do that thing on the TV that Dorthy did," I say to the dog.
At live shows I used to make a joke during tuning sting time, because I didn’t realize stand up jokes are confusing for concerts: “Johnny Ramone is buried near the dog who played Toto in the Wizard of Oz, which is ironic because The Ramones didn’t want to be buried in a Pet Cemetery...” Got a pitty laugh once, the next time silence. Sorry band, got to update the in-between tuning material.

I’m driving through North Carolina and I stop by at gas station across from the giant green Bass Pro shop Pyramid in Tennessee. I walk out of this gas station eating a hot dog and look at that green Pyramid. Its night-time so its lit up and is almost glowing its emerald color. Probably shouldn’t go in, I owe them credit card debt in the thousands spent on music gear and pre-made food since I thought the world was going to end. More afraid I’m not going to be let out of the place.
The Wizard of Oz ski resort is on the way and I know its closed down, but I’ll just drive by. When I was in high school, I came across it when I was looking up abandon locations. It was too far away at the time. So 15 years later I would finally investigate...
It’s 3 am and I’m driving through a village where all the stores are cabin like with snow on the roofs. You pass by the mountain at the bottom of the Oz ski resort and at night with the spotlights on the snowy hill. Its erie since nobody else is around and the town looks abandoned.
I go to an open gas station in the village, too late for the clerk to roll some hot dogs or I would continue my habit. I see some construction workers get out a chainsaw from their truck. They start cutting down this tall tree for no reason as its not falling over or in the way. I think it could hit the gas station. How narcissistic to think your getting a metaphor in the middle of the night.
I start driving up the hill to OZ, and I'm passing by all these hotel’s, cabin’s and I’m assuming winter rentals. Most of these cabin’s don’t have lights on, so it looks like a zombie scene, where everybody left their cars with snow on the windshields as my headlights hit them.
I keep driving up this hill for twenty minutes till I get to the top of the mountain and see the wooden door with ‘OZ’ on it. My hi-beams are aimed at it. The yellow brick road goes around the mountain right past those doors, but somebody has a house with their lights on up here. I'll make it quick.
I drive past the OZ door and see the chairlifts, which have icicles hanging down from them. It looks like the park is frozen over.

7 month’s later, I’m working a job and I’m talking to a customer. He’s talking about how he ski's, and I asked him if knows about the Wizard of Oz ski-resort. He closes his mouth, turns around and walks off.  I'm not sure what this guy knows about that place.
